Run the Big House Big Heart for FREE!

The Big House Big Heart Run (www.bighousebigheart.com) is Sunday, October 4, and you can run it for free! All you have to do is raise $150 in donations for A2A3 and we’ll refund your entry fee and give you a shirt and a special A2A3 medal.  Interested? The Big House Big Heart Run was originally conceived about three years ago in honor of Burns Park resident and parent Phil Bowen, who lived at Granger and Baldwin and died of ALS just days before the first running of the event in 2007.

Whether you run or not, whether you raise funds or not, please be part of our A2A3 team by RUNNING or VOLUNTEERING at the Big House Big Heart to raise awareness of ALS and the mission of A2A3.  Sign up online below or email us at a2a3running@a2a3.org

Want to VOLUNTEER at the BHBH ? (you can still run)

Just sign up online to volunteer with the BHBH and choose “registration” or some other task at the Expo, before, or after the race to be able to run the race, too.  Questions?  Email nancy@runningfit.com or a2a3running@a2a3.org

Want to RUN with A2A3 and (maybe) volunteer? It’s EASY – just follow these steps:

  1. Register (only if you are running) for the Big House Big Heart and pay for it yourself – online and paper registration options can be found at www.bighousebigheart.com.
  2. AFTER REGISTERING – Fill out the form below - we’ll add you to our fundraising team (optional for non-runners) so that your friends can support you with online donations if you want to earn a free registration.  (Make sure you provide a valid email – we will not share it!)
  3. Raise just $150! After your name appears in the “sponsor a runner” field in our form (give us a day or two), send this link or the orange button below to your friends and make sure they choose your name when donating: www.a2a3.org/a2a3-running-team-fundraising-page Alternatively, donations may also be mailed in your name to 2020 Shadford, Ann Arbor, MI  48104.

    4. To donate with credit card or PayPal to our A2A3 running team fundraiser and/or help a runner earn their free registration, just click here:

  4. We will keep track of your donation total and send you a link for confirming it —- then we will refund your race fee by check or PayPal after you raise at least $150 – even if it is after the race!
  5. We will contact you by email and let you know about shirts, training opportunities, and special activities for our team before the race.
  6. On October 4th, come run with us, run down the tunnel, and finish on the fifty at the Big House!
