Road Biking for a Cure for ALS!

Gears and Beers is not an official A2A3 event, but one of our friends and coaches is leading a Burns Park team – and it fits our active mission!

Gears and Beers is an organized bicycle ride put on by the ALS Association Michigan Chapter to raise money for ALS research. Frank Connolly rode in this event last year and this year has created a Burns Park team. Please consider joining the ride on the BP team or donating to the BP team! Or form your own team!

Riders have a choice of 25, 75, or 100 mile routes – Frank will be riding the 75 mile route. The post-ride party food is provided by Zingerman’s with beer again provided by Arbor Brewing Company.

Registration fee of $50 before April 1 and $75 after April 1 also covers the post-race party entry. Gears and Beers asks a minimum $40 donation for non-riders planning to attend the post-ride party at Olson Park.

Email Frank Connolly if you have questions or need help registering or donating.  Donations from this event go to ALSA Michigan Chapter to their ALS research fund.
